Most of the beginners confuse Local SEO and Global SEO, but there is a huge difference. In Local SEO, we optimize our website for local search queries like “dentist in Okara”, “plumber in Okara”, but in Global SEO, we target the whole world. We target, write, and optimize our website and content for the international market. For example, you live in Pakistan, and your city is Okara. Below the Google map pack 3, there are usually local organic results. In the image below, you can see that when I searched for a dentist near me, it showed me local map pack 3, which comes from Google Business Profile, about which we will discuss later.

In the Map Pack, you can see local organic results, where most likely your local business website ranks.

Below, you can clearly see both the map pack and local organic results in Google. Now, here is the thing in Local SEO: we need both Google Business Profile and a website. But if you are a small business in a small city with less competition, then only GBP will be more than enough, as it contributes almost 70% in your Local SEO.

After covid 19, the trends of online shopping have increased so much, also with changing technology, and cheap internet, everybody has access to it, they more often search online before making any purchase decision. Google Map Pack Ranking Factors:

Your map pack ranking depends upon the 32 to 36% Google Business Profile, 15 to 19% on page seo, 16 to 20% reviews, 8 to 10% links, 6 to 7% citations, 9% Behavorial, and 3 to 6% personalization.

Reviews are not only a ranking factor in local seo but they also boost trust, which leads to more leads, calls, and sales. Make a proper system to get reviews; the more reviews, the better. Also, Google algorithms check the quality, relevance, and velocity at which they are coming.
